(2010.11.27) Mt Bike Little Creek Mesa With My Sister Anne

My sister Anne flew out here to Phoenix from her home in Arkansas for a two week adventure trip. In addition to some local mountain biking, we planned a road trip to the San Francisco Bay area suburb of Dublin to spend Thanksgiving at my brother's place along with other brothers and sisters. We chose a return route that included St. George, UT so we could do some biking on one of the mesas of the area. These photos are from a ride we did on Little Creek Mesa. The snow from earlier in the week still hadn't melted so about a third of the ride was in snow and mud. The rest was on slick-rock where the sun had melted and dried the path. Due to the conditions it took us a little longer than planned and we barely made it back to the vehicle as it started to get dark. Despite the cold, mud, and snow it was a great ride with beautiful views from the trail segments on the edge of the mesa.
